Muriel Bolton Freeman (born September 9, 1897 in Worcester , † 1980 in Northampton ) was a British fencer .

Muriel Freeman took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris , where she was in the field of participants in the first-ever individual competition in women's foil fencing. She survived the first round with 4-1 wins in second place in her group, in the semi-final group she was also second behind Ellen Osiier . In the final round, she finally finished fourth in the competition. At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 she reached the final again . In the preliminary rounds she only had to admit defeat to Helene Mayer once. Also in the final round it was only Mayer who was able to prevail against Freeman, so that Freeman ultimately won the silver medal. In 1927 and 1929 she became British champion.
