Murray Canyon
Coordinates: 65 ° 45 ′ S , 73 ° 0 ′ E
The Ross Canyon is a deep-sea channel in the East Antarctic Cooperation Sea . It lies in front of the Amery Ice Shelf and Prydz Bay .
It is named after the Scottish botanist George Robert Milne Murray (1858–1911), temporarily head of the scientific staff of the British Discovery Expedition (1901–1904).
