Musa Khan Akbarzada (* 1950 in Paktia ) is an Afghan politician. He has been governor of Ghazni Province since May 16, 2010 (as of November 2011).

Akbarzada is a Pashtun from the Ahmadzai tribe .

At the end of 2011, he said he allowed local members of the Taliban to fire two rockets at the city of Ghazni in order to relieve the local rebels, who he believed were peaceable, from their command. A nine-year-old girl was killed. This was followed by massive criticism from city residents and the government in Kabul.
