Muscha (artist)
Muscha , actually Jürgen Muschalek (born September 28, 1951 , † July 29, 2003 in Düsseldorf , North Rhine-Westphalia ) was a German painter , film and video artist .
Life
Muscha was Trini Trimpop's childhood friend .
He was guitarist in the band " Charley's Girls " and was known in the punk scene .
Together with Trini Trimpop, he was nominated for the Max Ophüls Prize for the film Humanes Töten (1980) . The artist 's feature film Decoder, premiered in 1984 (with Christiane Vera Felscherinow ( Christiane F. ), FM Einheit , Genesis P-Orridge and, in a supporting role, William S. Burroughs , among others ) advanced to become a cult film in the punk scene .
Muscha ended his life by suicide in 2003 .
