National Archaeological Museum of Ferrara
The National Archaeological Museum of Ferrara ( Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Ferrara ) is the national archaeological museum of Ferrara ; it is located in the Palazzo Costabili .
The museum opened in 1935. It houses an extensive collection of finds from the submerged Etruscan city of Spina 7 kilometers southwest of Comacchio on the southern edge of the Po Delta , which have been made there since 1922. It is therefore also known as the Museo di Spina . Numerous Greek vases and Etruscan bronzes were found during the excavations of the city's necropolis .
