Museo de Albacete
The Museo de Albacete is the most important regional museum in the Spanish province of Albacete in the autonomous region of Castile-La Mancha . The museum collection began in the 19th century, but the current construction began in 1969 and was inaugurated in 1978.

The Museo de Albacete is located on the south-eastern edge of the Parque Abelardo Sánchez near the center of the New Castilian city of Albacete at an altitude of approx. 695 m above sea level. d. M.
Departments
The museum is divided into the areas of archeology , fine arts , numismatics , folklore and documents (mainly certificates and photographs).
Exhibits
The most important exhibits of the archaeological collection include Neolithic and Bronze Age vases, Iberian and Roman sculptures, Moorish ceramics and medieval works of art. The numismatic department presents Roman and Islamic coin finds.
