The Museo de Belas Artes da Coruña is a museum in the Spanish city ​​of A Coruña . The director of the collection is Ángeles Penas Truque.

The Museum of Fine Arts was founded in 1922. Between 1947 and 1995 it was in the Casa do Consulado . The current building, designed by the architect Manuel Gallego Jorreto, was inaugurated in 1995.

The collection

The museum exhibits numerous works from the Museo del Prado , Spanish and European paintings from the 16th to 20th centuries, and Galician paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries. The exhibition also includes a large collection of Goya - engravings and ceramic plates from Sargadelos.
