The Museo di Palazzo Venezia is located in the Piazza Venezia in Rome .

It is located in Via del Plebiscito 118 in the Barbo rooms of the Palazzo Venezia . In addition to some rooms with their original furnishings, the museum houses a collection of important paintings from the 14th to 15th centuries, tapestries , ceramics , majolica, Japanese and Chinese porcelain , and weapons. The opening took place in 1921.

In the Sala del Mappamondo and the Sala Regia, there are illusionistic architectural paintings by Mantegna and Bramante . There are also valuable Flemish , German and Italian tapestries from the 15th and 16th centuries. The museum also houses an extensive collection of weapons from between the 9th and 17th centuries, which includes both Viking swords and firearms. Helmets and complete armor can be seen in the Sala delle Battaglie . The silver collection contains, among other things, the cross of Orsini and the triptych by Alba Fucens .
