Shandong Province Stone Carving Museum

The Museum of Steinschnitzkunst of Shandong province ( Chinese  山東省石刻藝術博物館  /  山东省石刻艺术博物馆 , Pinyin Shandong Sheng Shike Yishu Bowuguan , english The Museum for the Art of Stone Engravings of Shandong Province ) is the first on the art of stone carving ( chin. shike ) specialized museum of China . It was founded in September 1981 and is located in Jinan , the capital of Shandong Province, China .

It holds 96 objects, of which stone bas-reliefs from the Han dynasty are the main focus. For example: Zhu Wei shishi huaxiang 朱 鲔 石室 画像, Songshan Xiaoci tang Han huaxiangshi 宋 山 小 祠堂 汉 画像 石, Handai shihuren 汉代 石 胡人; from the Northern Wei Dynasty : Maming si zaoxiang near 马鸣 寺 造像 碑, Gaozhen near 高 贞 碑, Gaoqing near 高 庆 碑.
