The Mushroom Rock State Park is a small state park in Ellsworth County in Kansas (USA).
It is located in the Smoky Hills and has several mushroom rocks as a special feature . The mushroom rocks in the park, which is only about 2.4 hectares in size, consist of Dakota sandstone , which is eroded more slowly than the rock originally surrounding it.
To the north of the park is the old Fremont Trail .
The park was opened in 1965 and the facilities are limited to a few picnic areas . The administration runs through the nearby Kanopolis State Park .
