Music didactics
The music didactics deals with the teaching and learning of music in the classroom. More narrowly than music pedagogy , it concentrates on the specific question of the design of - especially school - music lessons. Both considerations of the teaching methodology and knowledge of learning theory play a role. The selection of teaching and learning objectives is just as much a subject of discussion in music didactics as their arrangement in a curriculum . The concrete order of teaching steps in music lessons can also be the subject of music didactics.
