Mustafa Kuzu (born August 7, 1994 in Bad Urach ) is a German- Turkish soccer player who has been under contract with Denizlispor since 2013 .

Club career

Kuzu started in the youth department of the then 2nd Bundesliga club SSV Reutlingen 05 in which he played until 2009. He also attended the VfB Stuttgart football school .

For family reasons, he moved with his father to Konstanz in 2010, where he played for FC Konstanz . After a short time he was appointed to the DFB selection team, where he regularly attended the base training. In the same year clubs like SC Freiburg , the Stuttgarter Kickers and the Turkish record champions Galatasaray Istanbul wanted to sign him . He chose the latter. With this decision he lost his residence permit in Germany.

After three months with the record champions' youth team, Mustafa often complained to the board about the coach's lack of discipline and expertise. Although he had complained several times, he received no response from the board. Then he left the boarding school .

Mustafa was trained by his father for two years. After an interview with a television station, Denizlispor became aware of him. He completed two training sessions with the club before signing a contract.

Private

Due to family problems, Kuzu changed schools six times. With the support of his father, he made the leap from secondary school to high school. Most recently he attended the Ellenrieder Gymnasium in Konstanz .

He speaks German, English, Turkish and partly French.
