Mustafa Turk Arı

Mustafa Türker Arı (* 1972 in Mersin ) is a diplomat of the Republic of Turkey . From September 2010 to September 2014 he was head of the Consulate General in Stuttgart.

Life

Arı graduated from the Faculty of Political Science at Ankara University in the International Relations Department . In 1994 Arı became a candidate for civil servants in the Far Eastern Countries department of the Turkish Foreign Ministry ; then he completed his military service. In 1996 he became a civil servant candidate and attaché in the Department of Military Affairs (NATO) of the State Department. In 1997 he became attaché and third embassy secretary at the Turkish embassy in The Hague (Netherlands). In 2000 Arı became Third and Second Embassy Secretary at the Embassy in Sofia (Bulgaria). In 2002, Arı became Second and First Secretary in the NATO and European Security and Defense Policy Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2004 he became First Embassy Secretary and Counselor at the Embassy in Rabat (Morocco). In 2008 he became counselor at the embassy in Rome (Italy). In the same year he became Head of NATO and European Security and Defense Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2009 he was Counselor at the Turkish Embassy in Kabul (civil coordinator of the 'District Development Group' (PRT) for the Vardak District in Afghanistan). On September 14, 2010 he became Consul General at the Turkish Consulate General in Stuttgart.
