Mustapha Toumi

Mustapha Toumi (born July 14, 1937 in Algiers ; † April 3, 2013 ibid) was an Algerian writer.

Toumi worked in the culture commission of the Algerian National Liberation Front (FLN) and in the Ministry of Information of Algeria. He wrote poems and essays on cultural-political topics. In 1969 he published the anthology Pour l`Afrique . The story Der Senegalese , created by him in 1969, was translated from French into German by Karl Heinrich .
