Mutsuo Hirano

Mutsuo Hirano (born 1952 in Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a Japanese artist.

Life

Mutsuo Hirano studied German at Tenri University with a Bachelor of Arts degree . He has lived in Germany since 1975 , where he studied German at the Philipps University of Marburg and at the same time at the Institute for Painting and Graphics there. In 1990 he completed his studies in art history at the Philipps University of Marburg with a master's degree .

Mutuso Hirano currently lives and works in Berlin and in Torre Alfina / Italy . He has been married to the painter Thomas Lange since 2011 .

He was best known for his terracotta work .
