Mother with child (Berlin-Niederschönhausen)
The sculpture mother with child is a bronze figure in the Berlin district of Niederschönhausen in the Pankow district .
history
The sculptor Reinhold Felderhoff erected the 2.15 meter tall bronze sculpture mother with child in 1911. It shows a mother with a bare upper body. Holding it in both arms, she carries a child on her right shoulder.
From 1911 to the beginning of the 1950s the sculpture stood in the Bürgerpark Pankow , from 1955 to 1971 it stood in the old Pankow village green in front of the town hall . In 1971 it was removed there and temporarily stored in a parking space in the Bürgerpark. The factory has been in the Brosepark at the main entrance next to the Brosehaus since 1976 .
