After the death of the father a few years ago, the mother has now come to the nursing home . Confronted with the compulsion to sort house and household effects, and thus the life of their parents, the two sons, who have not spent so much time together since their youth, talk about the loss of their parents' home, their own youth in the local Münster and the Mother suffering from dementia .
In between original sounds from visits to the mother, the conversational palpation to what extent memory and recognition still work, how she copes with her changed situation.
