The Muzeul Satului Galați ( Galați Village Museum ) is a small open-air museum in the Tuluceşti municipality in Galați County in the Moldova Region , Romania . The museum is located 15 km north of Galați at the entrance to the Gârboavele forest , where the Galați zoo is located.
The museum has three courtyards, each with several buildings from the Galați region ( Cavadineşti , Corod and Măstăcani ), another from Cahul Rajon , the neighboring Republic of Moldova, and features buildings from the region from the end of the 18th / beginning of the 19th century The museum was built as part of the Romania-Moldova 2004–2006 program for around 340,000 euros (including 300,000 euros from EU funds) and opened at the end of 2008.
