Myosotis as long is a species of the forget-me-not genus( Myosotis ). The name “Myosotis as long” is derived from the German translation “Forget my not so long”.
features
Myosotis as long is a perennial eyrie hemicryptophyte that reaches heights of growth of (2) 4 to 6 (10) centimeters. The species is very small, forms cushions and develops numerous sterile shoots. The stem is creeping to ascending, protruding at the base and hairy on the upper surface. The leaves are lanceolate-spatulate. The wraps are few-flowered and have no bracts. The crown is dark blue and 3 millimeters in diameter. The tube is shorter than the chalice.
The flowering period extends from July to October.
Occurrence
Myosotis as long is endemic to Crete . The species is only known from one locality from the Lefka Ori , here it grows in hedgehog cushion heaths at an altitude of 2100 meters.
