Myriam Bonnin

Myriam Bonnin is a French accordionist.

Bonnin was a student of Robert Michon and completed her training with André Astier , Marcel Azzola , Joss Baselli and Joé Rossi . She then performed in France and internationally as a soloist and in a duo with the pianist Michel Benhaïem .

She also worked with ensembles such as the London Sinfonia 21 , the Ensemble intercontemporain , the Court Circuit , the Ensemble Fréon from Rome, the Ensemble Edgar Varese and the Ensemble Fa . She played solo concerts a. a. with the Orchester philharmonique de Radio-France , the Orchester de Paris , and the Orchester de l'Opéra de Lyon and under the direction of conductors such as Claudio Abbado , Lorin Maazel , Dennis Russell Davies , David Robertson , Christoph Eschenbach , Kent Nagano , Susanna Mälkki , Pierre-André Valade and Jean Deroyer .

Bonnin gave world premieres of contemporary works for the accordion by Claude Ballif , Luciano Berio , Sofia Gubaidulina , Toru Takemitsu , Hans Zender , Matthias Pintscher , Denis Levaillant , Joyce Bee Tuan Koh and Yan Maresz .

Bonnin is a professor at the École nationale de musique de danse et de Théâtre de la Vallée de Chevreuse in Orsay.
