Ná Ozzetti (born December 12, 1958 in São Paulo ), actually Maria Cristina Ozzetti , is a Brazilian singer . She is the sister of the guitarist and composer Dante Ozzetti and the flutist Marta Ozzetti.

Life

Ná Ozzetti learned to play the piano in her childhood . After completing a professional degree as a visual artist, she began her musical career in the late 1970s as a singer in the group RUMO , with whom she recorded a total of seven records. In 1988 she made her first own album called Ná Ozzetti . At the end of the 1980s she could be heard as a member of Itamar Assumpção's ensemble on various tours in Europe. Her second album was largely arranged by her brother Dante Ozzetti. In 1996 her CD Love Rita Lee was released, a tribute to the Brazilian singer Rita Lee . In 2005 she recorded the CD Piano e Voz as a duet with the pianist André Mehmari . Her latest album Balangandãs from 2009 includes compositions by Assis Valente, Ary Barroso and Dorival Caymmi .

Ná Ozzetti received a number of awards as a singer in Brazil.
