Nuremberg gwerch
Nürnberger Gwerch ( Franconian gwerch disorder, mess) is a traditional sausage salad of Franconian cuisine and is mainly served in Nuremberg .
Although there is no standard recipe, ox mouth salad is always the basis of the gwerch . Other ingredients are usually white and red press sacks and homemade city sausage . There are different opinions as to whether additional ingredients such as tomatoes , cheese , cucumber or eggs belong in a Nuremberg gwerch at all. The salad is dressed with a vinegar-oil marinade and served with black bread .
