The NASA Exoplanet Archive is a website that deals with research in the field of exoplanets . Among other things, it includes a catalog in the form of a database , the aim of which is to collect all known confirmed exoplanets and exoplanet candidates and to provide their data. For the objects contained in the catalog, there are data sheets with further information, such as the most important physical parameters of the objects and the associated literature. Basically, every object with a mass less than 30 Jupiter's masses is recorded as an exoplanet .

The archive belongs to the Infrared Processing and Analysis Center (IPAC) and is located on the grounds of the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena . The archive is financed by NASA and has been active since December 2011. The archive is operated by the NASA Exoplanet Science Institute (NExScI).

The archive also contains raw data from various missions to track down exoplanets, namely the Kepler mission .
