NCBI Switzerland
NCBI Switzerland is a non-profit association that works to break down prejudice , racism and discrimination of all kinds, as well as to prevent violence and constructively resolve conflicts .
NCBI means “National Coalition Building Institute”, which can be translated as “Bridge Builder Institute”. NCBI Switzerland works together with NCBI International, which consists of over 50 sections in the USA , Canada , Great Britain , Austria , Germany , Bulgaria and Bosnia-Herzegovina . The association was founded in 1995 .
Through workshops , crisis interventions and advice, the association imparts specific skills to act constructively, in solidarity and effectively in conflict situations. This enables NCBI to act as a mediator even on difficult conflict issues and to promote peaceful and democratic coexistence. The NCBI workshop concept is used in schools , companies, authorities , religious organizations, youth work , social work , youth advocacy and adult education .

- Train-the-trainers, multiplier course
- Peacemakers for the playground
- Encounter workshops (with Muslims, Jews, Holocaust survivors, homosexuals, Kosovar Albanians, Bosnians)
- Intercultural mediation : course for key people, support in the implementation of projects and events.
