National Garments Workers Federation

The National Garments Workers Federation (NGWF) is a union of workers in the garment industry in Bangladesh . The organization was founded in 1984 and has offices in the four cities of Dhaka , Chittagong , Savar and Tongi . She is the organizer of numerous protest actions in Bangladesh and organized together with other unions under the umbrella company BGWUC. Shahida Sarker is the union leader.

President and co-founder is Amirul Haque Amin , who received the Nuremberg International Human Rights Prize in 2015 for his work .
