Hanne Schleich

Hanne Schleich (born April 29, 1916 in Cologne as Hanne Grüttner ; † October 14, 2000 in Arnsberg ) was a German writer .

Life

Hanne Schleich grew up in Cologne , where she attended elementary school and a lyceum up to middle school . From 1931 to 1934 she stayed in the Netherlands . She then completed a traineeship in a law firm and worked for a company in Cologne for five years. During the Second World War she was the director of a children's home in Jülich . She has lived there since her evacuation to the Sauerland in 1943. After the war she devoted herself to her family and then worked as a secretary and foreign representative for an industrial group, later again in a correctional home . In 1979 she began writing literary texts. She last lived in Neheim-Hüsten .

Hanne Schleich's work includes novels , short stories , essays , poems and radio plays ; next translated it from the Dutch .

Hanne Schleich was a member of the Free German Association of Authors , the Authors' Circle Ruhr-Mark , the Bibliophile Society in Cologne and the Christine Koch Society . In 1991 she was the village clerk of the community Schleich / Mosel , in 1998 she was awarded the knight level of the Belgian order " Ordre de Léopold II ".
