NHL Challenge

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The NHL Challenge offers selected NHL teams the opportunity to prepare for the coming season outside of North America by playing against European teams. The games are whistled by referees from the NHL and are also played according to the rules of the NHL. So far the NHL Challenge has only been held in Scandinavian countries, but there is now also talk of having a German team compete against a team from North America, as the Lanxess Arena would offer a good location.
