The NK Gradina Srebrenik is a Bosnian football club from Srebrenik . The club was founded in 1953 and currently plays in the third highest league in the country, the Druga Liga FBiH . The club plays its home games in the Gradski Stadion Srebrenik , which has space for around 6,000 spectators.

history

The club was launched in 1953 but did not play a major role in Yugoslav football. It was only after Bosnia and Herzegovina proclaimed independence in 1992 that the association became a little better known for the first time. In the first championship in 1994 , still during the Bosnian War , the team took part in the top division of Bosnia for the first time, but just dropped out in the first group stage.

Until the 1999/2000 season, the team played in the top division, the Premijer Liga . The best placement was achieved in the 1997/98 season with a sixth place. After only the penultimate place could be achieved in 1990/2000, the associated relegation to the second highest class in the country followed.

After twelve years, the team won the first place in the second division and thus the right to promotion to the Premijer Liga . This makes the club the second club from the canton of Tuzla to participate in the top division after the traditional club FK Sloboda Tuzla was relegated to FK Zvijezda Gradačac for the first time .
