history
The Ronald Hoope was built in 1982 by CNIM in La Seyne-sur-Mer and put into service one year later under the name Neddrill 3 by NEDDRILL. After being taken over by the American company NOBLE Drilling in 1997, it was renamed NOBLE Ronald Hoope and registered in Liberia . In 2014 it was acquired by Paragon Offshore and given its current name.

The drilling platform can operate up to a water depth of 63 m and reach a drilling depth of 7500 m. The main deck is designed in the shape of a triangle and measures 55 × 62 m. The legs are 104 m long. In the superstructure there are offices, the canteen and 48 cabins for a total of 92 people. Further technical data are:
