Energy Lebanon has been a Lebanese private radio broadcaster since June 6, 2006 .

history

Energy Lebanon is operated as a franchise station by XDL Holding, which has been broadcasting radio (RML, Jabal Lubnan, RML Culture, Hit FM, Nostalgie and 99FM) and television (mtv) in the Middle East since 1979, and accordingly uses the license rights of the French and the internationally active NRJ Group . The French company is therefore not active in Lebanon itself, but only grants the naming rights for the station and program brands (e.g. Energy Mastermix ) and various events (e.g. the Energy Music Tour ).

program

The program is in English and is supplemented by access to international program content, for example interview recordings or the NRJ Music Awards . Fixed programs in the program are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 10:00 the morning show Energy Morning Show and from 17:00 and 19:00 interactive-program made Energy Planet hit . The program Energy Dark , which has been produced since 1981 by the founder of the RML Group / today's XDL Holding, Jyad (Jihad Gabriel) Murr, which mainly plays music from the genres Darkwave, Gothic and Alternative Rock, has been on Energy every Wednesday between 21 : 12:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. The station broadcasts the Energy Master Mix on Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 p.m. The Energy Top 20 , the most played hits of the week in Lebanon, will be broadcast an hour beforehand on Friday evening .

On Sunday, between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Energy will broadcast the Euro Hot 30 , which is determined from the most frequently played programs on European NRJ / Energy stations.

Frequencies

Energy Lebanon broadcasts on a total of eight stations on the VHF frequencies 99.1 MHz and 98.8 MHz. The transmission facilities are located in Achrafieh , Beit Mery , the northern plain, the Bekaa Valley , Jabal Safi, Sidon , Barouk and Faraya. The frequencies cover Lebanon almost everywhere. The station can therefore not only be received in the major cities of Beirut , Tripoli and Nabatäa , but also in the more rural regions.
