NTT DATA is an IT services company of the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Group with headquarters in Tokyo , Japan . history
The company was founded in 1967 as a division of NTT and, after being established as a separate subsidiary of NTT in 1988, began expanding, first in Japan and then on the Asian market. The IT service provider was converted into a stock corporation in 1995 and has expanded its business internationally since 2012. The German national company emerged from the BMW subsidiary Cirquent . From April 2012, Cirquent was gradually merged with its European sister companies Itelligroup and Value Team under the NTT Data brand.
In 2013 the company acquired the Madrid-based IT service provider Everis
In 2016, the company acquired the IT Services division (mainly the former Perot systems) from Dell for $ 3 billion.
In 2019, NTT DATA Switzerland AG was fully integrated into NTT DATA Deutschland GmbH with NTT DATA Nefos AG and NTT DATA Österreich GmbH.
