NU (rapper)

NU51 (formerly NU , real name Noel Amadu ; * 1991 in Düren / North Rhine-Westphalia) is a German-speaking rapper .

Life

Noel Amadu grew up in Düren. He came into contact with hip-hop culture through his older brothers .

In 2017 he released his debut single Neun Milli on the German rap label Alles Oder Nix Records . Other publications followed, such as the track Mouth Doesn't Fight . This found its place on the sampler Only God Can Judge Me , which was presented by Xatar . He could not accept a contract offer from Alles Oder Nix Records due to imprisonment.

After his release, NU founded his own label and is currently working with his label colleagues Des and King Kuba, while still working with Alles Oder Nix Records . NU can be heard as a feature guest on Xatar's single Weiter Weg , which appeared on his solo album Alles Oder Nix II . In addition, in March 2019 Xatar was released as a feature on Nu's track Was Krieg as a single from the Free Bantu Nation album , which is still to be released.

Lasslauf , a joint single by NU and label colleague Sugar MMFK, who is threatened with deportation, hit the million mark on YouTube. The label Bantu Nation was signed by Chapter ONE / Universal Music in 2018 .

In February 2019, he began serving a prison sentence.
