Nâdiya (* 19th June 1973 in Tours , Indre-et-Loire as Nadia Zighem ) is a French R & B and pop - singer Algerian -französischer descent.

Nâdiya became known in 2001 for her song J'ai confiance en toi . Besides France , Nâdiya is also successful in Belgium and Switzerland .

After they became known through J'ai confiance en toi , several top 10 hits followed .

Her first number one hit in France was in April 2008 in a duet with Enrique Iglesias with Tired of Being Sorry (Laisse le destin l'emporter) .

In 2011 she took part in the second season of the dance show Danse avec les stars .
