The Nahoon River ( English Nahoon River , African Nahoonrivier) is a river in the South African province of Eastern Cape . The Nahoon River rises south of Kei Road and north of Berlin in the Eastern Cape . Its mouth is northeast of East London on the Indian Ocean . Nearby is the headland of Nahoon Point .
The water quality is good to very good from the source region to above the urban area of East London. From this city and through other commercial regions in the lower reaches, the water purity deteriorates.
