Naito Ando (born November 20, 1997 ) is a Japanese snowboarder . He starts in the halfpipe discipline .

Career

Ando has been taking part in competitions of the TTR World Snowboard Tour and the FIS since 2011 . In the 2015/16 season he won the US Revolution Tour in Copper Mountain . He made his debut in the World Cup in January 2016 in Mammoth , which he finished in 16th place. The following month, he finished third in the World Cup and US Grand Prix of Snowboarding in Park City . In September 2016 he triumphed at the Cardrona Games. In the 2017/18 season, he was among the top ten three times in five World Cup appearances and thus achieved 17th place in the Freestyle World Cup and seventh place in the Halfpipe World Cup.
