Najibabad is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh .
The city is part of the Bijnor district . Najibabad is 452 km northwest of Lucknow and near the border with Uttarakhand . Najibabad has the status of a Nagar Palika Parishad . The city is divided into 25 wards . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census, Najibabad had 88,535 inhabitants, of whom 46,372 were men and 42,163 women.
The city is well connected to all major cities in India by the National Highway 119 and National Highway 74 and various rail links.
