The club was founded in 1999. From 2000 the club played in the Thailand Provincial League . He succeeded in winning the championship in 2001 and 2003. However, the championships had no great value, as the champions of this league were not recognized as the official champions of Thailand. After the incorporation of the Provincial League into the league system of the Thai Football Association in 2007, the club played in the Thailand Division 1 League . If the club reached 7th place in the group in the first year, they were relegated to 15th place a year later. Since the Thai Premier League relegated FC Bangkok Bank canceled the game, the association decided to play play-offs for the free space. All four relegation places in the second division were involved. Nakhon Sawan was able to reach the final of the play-offs, but lost 4-0 against FC Thai Honda . So the team would still have been relegated. But since the newly promoted third division, the Army Welfair Department, withdrew, the club was ultimately allowed to remain in the second division.
