Namilt (I.) was the son of Scheschonq I and around 940 BC. BC ( Kitchen ), during the 22nd Dynasty ( Third Intermediate Period ), ruler of Herakleopolis in central Egypt and carried the title of " Commander of the whole army ".
According to an altar by Sheschonq I, Namilt (I) reintroduced the daily bull sacrifice , which was performed in honor of the god Herischef . A naophoric statue of Namilt (I.) was found in Leontopolis .
