Nancy Sloss
Nancy Sloss (* 1928 in San Francisco , † 3. October 2018 in Washington, DC ) was an American film producer , the American US with the film director Charles Guggenheim for their participation in the documentary high schools an Oscar nomination at the Academy Awards in 1985 in in the " Best Documentary " category . The award went to Rob Epstein and Richard Schmiechen for their contribution to The Times of Harvey Milk .
For the film high school he recorded seven different high schools . The film is based on Ernest L. Boyer's book High School: A Report on Secondary Education in America . In addition to the Oscar nomination, both were nominated for a "Gold Hugo" at the Chicago International Film Festival for this film.
