The Nanjing Olympic Sports Center Gym (Chinese: 南京 奥林匹克 体育 中心) is a multi-purpose hall in the Chinese metropolis of Nanjing , Jiangsu Province . The arena is located directly at the south end of the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center Stadium . Both venues are part of the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center .
history
The hall was built and inaugurated on the occasion of the 10th National Games of the People's Republic of China in 2005 from 2002 to 2005. The floor area is 60,000 m². The 70 by 40 meter hall offers space for 13,000 spectators. All places are air-conditioned. There is also a 1: 500 m² training hall in the complex.
The Nanjing Olympic Sports Center Gym hosted the final round of the 2009 Women's Handball World Championship .
