Nans Peters (born March 12, 1994 in Grenoble ) is a French cyclist .

Athletic career

Peters won the bronze medal at the French U23 championships in the individual time trial in 2015 . From the 2017 season he joined the UCI WorldTeam Ag2r La Mondiale , for which he contested his first Grand Tour with the Vuelta a España in 2018 and finished 72nd in the overall standings.

Trivia

Peters got his unusual first name from his mother after the television series Nans le berger ( Nans the Shepherd ), which was popular in France in the 1970s . He grew up in Le Monestier-du-Percy . He has the nickname Le Pingouin on the team because of his pronounced eyebrows .
