Nansy Damianova

Nansy Damianova (born March 30, 1991 in Paris ) is a Canadian gymnast. She represented her country at the 2008 Summer Olympics .

Life

At the age of 5, Damianova, born in Paris, began training as the daughter of Bulgarian parents who both worked as athletes for their country (mother Sophia in rowing and father Titomir in Taekwondo). She finished her first Canadian Championship when she was eleven in 2002 with 11th place. From 2006 she was able to compete in the seniors and came third in the all-around competition. At the Olympic Games in Beijing , she could not qualify for the final battle and finished in 38th place.

successes

She achieved her greatest successes internationally until 2009 at the 41st World Cup in Maribor in 2008, when she took third place on the floor and in the horse jump. Nationally she was successful at the Canadian Championships in 2008 with a first place in the jump, a 2nd on the uneven bars and a 4th place on the floor.
