The Narodowy Stadion Rugby (German Rugby National Stadium ) is a pure rugby stadium in the city of Gdynia (German Gdynia) in northern Poland and the venue for numerous matches of the Polish national rugby team and home to the local rugby club Arka Gdynia . It is also occasionally used by the local American football team Seahawks Gdynia .
The National Rugby Stadium is the only stadium in Poland specially built for rugby . As a rule, the teams of the Polish rugby leagues and the Polish national rugby team play in football or multifunctional stadiums . The construction of the national rugby stadium was completed in December 2009 and the opening took place in February 2010. Before that, the neighboring GOSiR stadium was used for rugby matches . The entire facility is owned by the municipality of Gdynia.
