Narong Bhornchima

Narong Bhornchima ( Thai : ณรงค์ พร ฉิ ม ; * 1938 ) is a former Thai badminton player .

Athletic career

In his homeland, Narong Bhornchima won the Thai championships for the first time in 1959 in doubles with Raphi Kanchanaraphi . A year later he won the mixed competition with Pankae Phongarn . In 1966 he won the double title again with Raphi Kanchanaraphi.

Internationally, he won the Asian Badminton Championship in men's doubles with Chavalert Chumkum in 1965 and took silver with the team at the same event. At the Thomas Cup in 1961 he was defeated in the final against Indonesia with the Thai men's team and was runner-up. At the All England 1962 he also lost the final. A year earlier, Kanchanaraphi and Bhornchima had won silver at the Southeast Asian Games.
