Narsinghgarh is a city in the Rajgarh district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh .
The city is located 60 km north-northwest of Bhopal , the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The national highway NH 46 (Bhopal - Jhalawar ) runs through the city.
In the 2011 census, the population was 32,329.
Narsinghgarh used to be the capital of the princely state of the same name . Above the city is the old fortress of the principality.
