National road B1 and Karas Mountains around 5 km south of Narubis

Narubis is a settlement in the constituency of Karasburg in southern Namibia , around 70 km south of Keetmanshoop . The place is on the Lion River in a plateau at 917 m above sea level at the foot of the Karas Mountains . Narubis is also located directly on the B1 national road between Keetmanshoop and Grünau .
