Uschebti the Nasalsa (now in the British Museum, London)

Nasalsa was a Nubian queen. She was the wife of Senkamanisken and the mother of Aspelta and Anlamani .

Nasalsa is mentioned on her sons' monuments where she plays an important role. Their important position can also be read from their pyramid Nu 24 in Nuri . Your burial chamber is completely decorated with long, religious texts, which is otherwise almost only documented by kings. The burial chamber was looted, but ushabtis with the name of the Nasalsa were still found . Nasalsa also appears on an object (a handle from a mirror?) From Meroe .
