Anlamani is best known from a stele that was found in a temple in Kawa . On this stele the ruler reports that he visited Kawa and that his mother Nasalsa also came there to see her son. Anlamani used his sister as a sistrum player in the Amun temples of the country (she is not mentioned by name, but Malotarachta is suspected) and he finally reports of fighting against nomads who threatened Kawa.

Furthermore, two granite statues of the ruler of Mount Barkal are known and his name was found on a block from Meroe . Anlamani was buried in a pyramid Nu 6 in Nuri . In his burial chamber there was a large sarcophagus decorated with religious texts (today: Khartoum National Museum Sudan 1868).
