Nashitsubo no gonin
The Nashitsubo no gonin ( Japanese 梨 壺 の 五 人 dt. About: "Five (members) of the pear chamber") are five prince poets ( Kasen ) and scholars of the Heian period who lived in a specially set up office in the imperial palace compiled the anthology of poems Gosen Wakashū (951). In addition, they created the reading index for the Man'yōshū .
The five Yoryūdo ( 寄 人 , also Yorihito) were:
- Ōnakatomi no Yoshinobu ( 大中 臣 能 宣 , 921–991)
- Minamoto no Shitagō ( 源 順 , 911–983)
- Kiyohara no Motosuke ( 清 原 元 輔 , 908–990)
- Sakanoue no Mochiki ( 坂 上 望 城 , life dates unknown)
- Ki no Tokibumi ( 紀時文 , 922–996)
