Nat Jones

Nat Jones (* around 1940) is an American jazz pianist .

Live and act

Jones played for Cootie Williams in 1962 ; he resigned in the early 1970s a. a. with bassists Herman Wright and Michael Fleming in the New York jazz club West Boondock. During this time, recordings were made with the formation The Piano Choir ( Handscapes , Strata East Records ), in which Stanley Cowell , Hugh Lawson , Webster Lewis , Harold Mabern , Danny Mixon and Sonelius Smith played various keyboard instruments. In 1994 he played with Takeshi Yamaguchi ( Lover Man ); In 1994 Piano Choir was revived for the production of Handscapes 95 . In 1989 he was still playing in the Montparnasse bar .
